Who knew trees could do this
This is one year after the fathers day storm with winds up to 100 MPH. That took out the power for days. Streets where blocked buildings tore apart. I completely changed the way I edit my videos for this one. Let me know how you liked it.

My new puppy attacked my chicken after 6 months of no issues. I thankfully was able to get her well. She had puncher marks down her neck. I found her lifeless in the backyard. It took about a week and she was back to her crazy Karen self. For the next month I watched her and my pup and got onto him if he even got close to her. Now he wont even look at her. Finally got baby ducklings. We have been watching momma for the last 20 days and at about 4 in the morning they finally hatched. It has been so much fun watching than swim and watching momma take care of them. The story doesn't end well for them but for the time we enjoyed them being around. Hope to get more in the future.

This is walking though the Chicago Botanical Garden. It was truly amazing. I just wish it wasn't raining so I could have seen more. The main reason why we went was to see the Corpse Flower. This thing was huge. At 7 foot and 4 1/2 foot girth it is the largest flower I have ever seen.

Mine are getting pretty leggy instead of tall and some of the center of them have appeared to die over the winter. Can I prune them now (May) or should I wait? Tips on how to prune them to make them get taller instead of just wide? Thanks!

    • @devinparker1
      @devinparker1 3 роки тому

      The way I did it you wouldn’t gain anything from beveling the back then you would have to redo the sides. I see what your saying though but this is more of a square house type thing. I do plan on making harder houses but wanted to keep it simple for people to do.

    • @alext8828
      @alext8828 3 роки тому

      @@devinparker1 Look at your video and freeze it at 7:39. You say you don't want water to get into the junction between the roof and the back. You put 2 screws in thru the back and proceed to bend the roof down thereby opening up a gap there. Just cut the back edge of the roof to fit. What's so complicated about doing that? Set the saw for 20 degrees or whatever the number was and slice it. Don't you see that the roof rests on the 2 side pieces that have an angle to them? You cut the angle. It's for run-off like on any roof. Everybody likes to argue and have excuses to do it wrong. Just do it right.

      I free handed it which if you do trim before walls it’s less likely to get on wall if you do it the other way. Wall is the easiest. But it’s got a little space between trim and wall and helps when painting.
